High-frequency, environmentally friendly and reliable, the trains of our AlbatrosExpress Germany connect the economic centers of Germany with all loading points of importance for the maritime sector at the German
seaports of Hamburg, Bremerhaven and Wilhelmshaven. They operate both as direct trains, shuttle trains and via our central hub in Maschen.

Maschen is the largest classification yard in Europe with a key function as a central hub for seaport hinterland connections to the northern ports. Maschen as a hub is what makes our flexible and high-frequency connections, fast response times, and flexible use of resources to volatile volume flows possible in the first place.
